Mudjacking Is a Time-Tested Service

Mudjacking is the process utilized for fixing concrete hazards and eyesores. To create a safe and even concrete surface to the existing concrete, the voids are filled with an all-natural, eco-friendly compound. The process is started by drilling holes the size of a quarter and hydraulically pumping the compound into the holes which creates pressure and raises the concrete to pre-determined level.

The process re-stabilizes and provides support to the existing concrete slab. The drill hole is patched and covered with a grout compound that does not shrink.

As far as polyurethane, fewer contractors have access to this procedure and it is not as widely available to homeowners as a result. Equipment and materials are expensive and often not available to smaller contractors that specialize in residential work.

Benefits of Mudjacking Over Polyurethane

  • The original slab is kept in place, so the repair work is nearly invisible
  • Environmentally friendly
  • Cost efficient
  • Saves you money, almost half the cost
  • Clean work
  • Can use immediately after repair in most cases
  • Repair and lift your existing sinking concrete
